March 27, 2019 – Marcia Brandes, Photoshop for Photographers

Corner2019 03 Marcia Brandesstone Coworking
279 W Crogan Street, Lawrenceville, GA

Many of us use and love Lightroom for processing our photographs, but are intimidated by its big brother, Photoshop.  There are wonderful features in both, and together they make a great package.  Yes, Photoshop is complicated, but you don’t have to learn everything – just what you need to enhance your images.

Marcia Brandes was in the art business before she became a photographer and has been using Photoshop for over 20 years.

Step by step, she will introduce you to Photoshop’s Photographer tools, demystify layers, and show you how to print diptychs and triptychs.   She will show how to remove unwanted telephone lines, objects, and even people; how to remove lens distortion and how to straighten a parallelogram into a right-angled rectangle. She will demonstrate some simple fixes with Blending Modes and show how to turn your photos into greeting cards or other projects.

Then a little time for Q&A.

Marcia is a member of the GNPA Roswell chapter and a charter member of the new GNPA Conservation Committee.

It should be another great program, don’t miss it!
