Join us for what should be a very informative and creative approach of taking flower photographs.  Joyce Dumas will present her “Dumas Method of Flower Photography”.  Areas covered will be:

  • Post-Processing considerations in Camera Raw, Photoshop and Nik
  • Equipment used for Flower Photography

Joyce is a professional flower photographer and educator on flower composition and unique approaches to flower photography.  

A graduate from the University of Florida School of Journalism.  Career background in photography as a newspaper photographer and reporter before moving on to magazine editing and freelance writing.  After moving to the North Georgia Mountains, she was inspired by their beauty and decided to focus on nature photography.  Our kind of photographer!

Her work in local and regional galleries as well as at juried fine art shows throughout the Southeast. Joyce teaches photography and digital imaging classes and leads photography workshops in Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee. Co-Founder of the Blue Ridge Mountain Photographers Guild, chaired the BRMP National Photography Exhibit, and served on the board of the Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association.
