Get ready for another fantastic week (7 days, 6 nights) of photography with professional photographer, teacher and friend of GNPA, Larry Winslett, in one of the most desirable photo locations in the world!!!

Experienced Nature photographer and workshop leader Larry Winslett is the trip organizer, teacher and guide for this fantastic trip sponsored by the Georgia Nature Photographer’s Association.

This event follows immediately after the first week in Banff National Park. Our lenses will capture some of the most photographed scenery in the world…Spirit Island and Maligne Lake including a boat trip to Spirit Island, Athabasca River with several spectacular waterfalls including Tangle Falls and Athabasca Falls, Pyramid Lake and Island. Magnificent vistas will be found along the roadway as we travel from the lodge to various destinations including likely opportunities for wild animals like elk, bear, moose, sheep, deer and goat. Jasper National Park is well known as the home of a large population of these animals.

Jasper National Park in the Canadian Rockies comprises a vast wilderness area of Alberta province defined by glaciers, lakes and peaks like 11,033-ft.-high Mt. Edith Cavell. The Icefields Parkway, a road from the town of Jasper, passes subalpine forest and the immense Columbia Icefield. The park is filled with picture perfect image possibilities.

We are extremely excited about the photographic opportunities which will be available to the small group of GNPA members who take this trip to one of the great photographic destinations in the world! This will be a great event!
