Georgia Nature Photographers Association (GNPA) is very excited to announce our 2018 EXPO is now open for registration.  Our annual event has more exciting Keynote speakers than ever, wonderful learning workshops opportunities, great field trips, more Vendors than ever, door prizes, photo contest, and much more!

There is an early bird registration fee of $150.00 which goes up to $175 after March 28.  In addition, when you register for EXPO, you will receive a discount code for registration to John Gerlach’s Seminar “How to Shoot Beautiful Outdoor Images” held April 7 in Norcross, GA.

This seminar is a wonderful learning experience and lead in to EXPO. You must register for EXPO first to get the discount code allowing you to attend this outstanding daylong seminar for only $50.00. ($45 off the regular price of $95!) If you register for the seminar first you cannot go back and use the discount.

This year’s EXPO will have three keynote speakers:

  • 2018 04 Canon Explorers of Light logo 225x91Charles (Chas) Glatzer is world renowned photographer, Canon Explorer of Light, founder of Shoot the Light, X-Rite Coloratti, and is celebrated internationally with over 40 prestigious awards for superior photographic competence.
  • Ron Magill is an internationally recognized zoological authority working with wildlife for over 30 years and an award-winning photographer and documentary producer whose images have appeared in publications and galleries around the world.
  • Ralph Lee Hopkins talk is "Great Voyages - Expeditions to the World's Wild Places." He is renowned photographer and workshop leader who travels to the world’s wild places with Lindblad Expeditions and National Geographic and is the founder and director of the Expedition Photography program on board the National Geographic fleet of expeditions ships.

There are six outstanding learning opportunity workshops:

  • Metering Demystified led by Chas Glatzer, both classroom and field, for $125.00
  • Photographing Water in Nature led by Larry Winslett, both classroom and next day field trip, for $70.00.
  • Birding and Bird Photography on Jekyll Island led by Eric Bowles, map led drive, for $40.00.
  • Macro Photography led by David Akoubian, both classroom and field, for $50.00.
  • Infrared Photography with Digital Cameras led by Eric Bowles, Classroom and field, $50.00.
  • Making Great Landscape Images led by Mark Buckler, classroom and next day field trip, for $70.00.
