2019 06 Oatland Island GNPA8:00AM-11:00AM 711 Sandtown Road, Savannah, GA

Join us at Oatland Island Wildlife Center on June 15th.

With special permission we'll arrive at 8:00AM in some great morning light before it is opened to the public at 10:00AM when the light is usually not as good. If the gate is closed, ring the buzzer and let them know you are a GNPA Member and here for the photography field trip. Meet in the Visitor Parking Lot in back of the main building.

To register, you must be a Current (paid) Member. If you are a Current Member and do not see the Register Here Button, Log In.

If you are not a member, join the GNPA today.

Bring Camera, Lens, Tripod. You'll be able to shoot wild birds in their natural setting as well as the animals in the enclosures. Keep in mind that the wolves and bobcats will not be in the enclosures until 10:00AM. Bring insect repellent and water if you need it.

Watch your footing at all times. The path to the animals and the enclosures is mostly not paved. You'll also be able to see the tornado destructed area from last year. Keep Safety in Mind!
