For GNPA Members ONLY!

J2019 05 toccoa falls horizontal 190417oin GNPA for a member ONLY opportunity to photograph Waterscapes, Landscapes and all that goes with them.

Goal of our trip is to capture the beauty of each of the three waterfalls in the Toccoa Area, which is Russell Adams' hometown. Toccoa Falls drops 186 feet straight down, making it the highest, single drop waterfall in the Eastern US.

But there are two other smaller waterfalls very close by, one of which is just outside the gate from Toccoa Falls. The other smaller waterfall is in Henderson Falls Park, just 5 minutes down the road. After lunch we can visit Yonah dam, north of Toccoa, where the Tugaloo River forms the headwaters for Lake Hartwell.

Toccoa Falls is located on the campus of Toccoa Falls College on Hwy 17, north of Toccoa.
