2019 10 columbia 7Imagine a place where primeval can be accessed.  A place that is both dynamic and yet timeless.  A place where one can escape the real world and enjoy nature at some of it's most beautiful.  A place of rugged pristine landscape where rain forests, majestic basalt bluffs and faceted columns reach toward the sky, where canyons and grottoes and majestic waterfalls reside.  A place that's home to one of the worlds largest and most scenic rivers, the mighty Columbia.  A place of extremes in weather, amazing winds, snow and ice storms in the Winter and yet peaceful calms and warm sunny days in the Spring thru Autumn.

In short, the Columbia River Gorge is photographer's Paradise.   Photographing the Columbia River Gorge is an epic world class photography experience.  As first time visitors to the gorge we will tour the Historic Columbia River Highway and hit all of the Waterfalls along the way.  Latourell Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Wahkeena Falls, Multnomah Falls, Horsetail Falls to name a few.

In addition to the Waterfalls there will be plenty of amazing vista’s, land and riverscapes to photograph as well.  We will be staying at the Best Western Columbia River Inn at Cascades Locks, Oregon.  Cascade Locks is about 40 minutes from the Portland Airport on Hwy 84.

As always, Larry has scouted the area in advance and is prepared to put us and our cameras in the best places, at the best times to capture spectacular images. You will not want to miss this spectacular trip!!  We expect this trip to fill quickly so don’t hesitate to secure your spot!
