Atlanta Audubon Society's 2010 Annual Photography Contest
The Atlanta Audubon Society is now accepting entries for their 2010 Annual Photography contest. There are several subject categories offering prizes. Entries must have been photographed since January 1, 2009. All entries must be received by February 22, 2010. Photos by several members of the GNPA were chosen as award winners in 2009 - including the Grand Prize by Jo Ginn! Please read "The Fine Print" to understand the sigificantly increased rights, to your images, that the AAS is taking when you submit entries to this contest. Florida's most successful birding and photography festival will launch during the height of spring migration and offer more than 150 exciting events for avid birders, nature photographers and those that just wish to learn more about Northeast Florida's beautiful natural areas.
Headquartered at the University of Florida's Whitney Lab in Marineland (near St. Augustine, FL), this year's event includes various photography and Digiscoping workshops and seminars, birding walks (including Vaill Point, Ravine Gardens, and Alpine Groves), kayaking tours, photo safaris and many others - all led by renowned nature photographers and knowledgeable birders, naturalists and biologists.
